Ladue High School Boys Basketball
The Ladue Rams Basketball team had a record setting season with 26 wins which is a school record. The Rams finished with a 26-6 record and finished 2nd place in the state in Class 5 falling to Cardinal Ritter in the championship game. The Rams won the district championship for the 3rd time in the last 5 years and also were conference champs for the Suburban Red Conference. This team was led by Jack Steinbach who made the all-state team for Class 5, and Dwayne Foley and Jaylen Swinney each made the all-district team as well.
Ladue High School Girls Basketball
The Girl’s basketball program started the 2022-2023 season under new head coach Miranda Burroughs. The varsity team ended the season 9-16 and the junior varsity team finished 14-8. There were many obstacles overcome throughout the season and the girls worked hard and put forth their best effort daily. Mya Mann earned 2nd Team All-District in Class 5 District 2 and First Team All-Conference. Macie Vinson earned 2nd Team All-Conference honors. We look forward to the continued growth of this young group!
Ladue High School Wrestling
The Ladue Girls Wrestling Team was led by Captain Scarlette Maier. Scarlette was undefeated in duals winning 41 matches throughout the year. She was a district champion and finished her career a 3-time state qualifier. She ended her senior campaign placing 3rd in the state in the Class 2 division.
The Ladue Boys Wrestling Team, led by Captains Sam Loiterstein and Will Haybron, had a successful season with 17 dual wins, 13 of these being in the suburban conference. The Rams had 3 state qualifiers and 4 wrestlers with over 30 wins on the season. Senior Sam Loiterstein finished the season with 43 wins and qualified for the state tournament, finishing his career as a 2-time state qualifier. Will Haybron, a senior, finished with 39 wins and only one spot away from the state tournament, where the 4 above him placed top 6 in the state. Shaun Roberts and Jimmy Rowe both qualified for the state tournament as juniors and are looking forward to their senior season. Sophomore Cooper Mortenson finished the season with 44 wins and just a spot out of the state tournament.
Ladue High School Girls Swim & Dive
- Elite Eight (7th place) at Class 1 State Championships, 120 team points
- Mary Bezzant, junior, 1st at State in 100-yard breaststroke, new school record time (1:03.96) and 2nd in 200-yard individual medley, also new school record time (2:06.32). Breaststroke time is only 0.21 seconds from high school All-America consideration.
- 200-yard medley relay, 4th at State (JR Lily Hsieh, Bezzant, SR Nicole Li, SO Meg Willmann)
- Bronze Medal (3rd place) at Red Pool Conference Championships
- Dual & tri-meet record in league 8-2
