The 2025 baseball team finished on a high note after a rocky start plagued by injuries. PC baseball finished the season winning 4 of their last 6 games beating top-ranked Ft. Zumwalt West, last year’s state champ Borgia, Westminster, and then Ladue in round one of districts. Colts lost in round 2 of districts to #1 seed Summit 2-1, with several chances to score. The seniors (Brown, B. Chorlins, J. Chorlins, Huff, Kang, Page, and Thuston) did a phenomenal job coming to practice every day with a great attitude for the TEAM to make the improvement we did during the season.
PC Baseball capped off their season with the always fun Busch Stadium game.

GOLF (BOYS)
The boy’s golf team just wrapped an exciting and successful season with 2 Sophomores competing at the State Tournament in Bolivar, Missouri. With Seniors Jack Miller and Dillon Harris returning to the varsity tournament roster, we had two Sophomores and a Junior step up to round out the 5 man squad. Our returning underclassmen (Jackson Bober, Mukt Patel, and Evan Falke) stepped up and filled these important spots on our team, and created a solid and consistent lineup. Mukt was our only player to make it to State last year, but was joined by Jackson Bober this year. As a program, we had another successful season. We won the Seckman Suburban Cup Tournament at Oak Valley Golf Course with a team score of 309. This win was a big motivator and indicator of what the team could accomplish on a good day. We were competitive in all of our matches and had some great performances this year. Our team finished up our conference schedule this season with a 7-1 record, and another big win at the Conference Tournament (our second consecutive conference championship). Mukt Patel won Conference Player of the year, while Evan Falke and Dillon Harris received 1st Team All Conference honors, and Jackson Bober won 2nd Team All Conference Honors. We have some great talent returning next season, and the kids are excited to get a team to the state tournament.
LACROSSE (GIRLS)
This season was one for the record books! We finished the season 9-3 including our first postseason win and the highest rank in our conference. Having an assistant varsity coach for the first time, Lisa Foust, allowed us to make some fundamental shifts in our offense. Our defensive crew, including goalie Olivia Bumbac, really came together with a goals against average of 6.60 (#3 in St. Louis area). Captains Sarah Jones and Alie Simmons cultivated a hard working, fun loving, and supportive environment that kept us motivated down to the last minute.
Program records for offense were broken by Mia Behrends for goals and points and by Taryn Provinse for assists. The program record for draw controls per game was broken by Sarah Jones with 5.7 this season (#7 in St. Louis area).
We were proud to be selected by the umpires association (CUWL) with the Spirit of the Game Award for sportsmanship, positivity, and love of the game.
Red PSLA conference team members:
1st team: Mia Behrends (attack), Olivia Bumbac (goal), Lily Horowitz (defense), Evie Huff (defense), Sarah Jones (midfield), Taryn Provinse (attack)

Sadie was selected to play in the Missouri Athletic Club senior All-Star game.

TENNIS (BOYS)
Boys Tennis had a respectable 9-9 season as a team with a tough schedule that included several State contenders in Class 2 and Class 3. The team was very young with a lot of future potential. This year was quite a test but I am excited to see what next spring brings after all the growth experienced this season. The team placed 6th in the Holt Tournament and lost 2nd round in Districts to Final Four Parkway West. On the individual side, Arhan Meka a freshman placed 2nd in Singles in the Lindbergh Tournament. He placed 2nd in Districts in Singles qualifying him for State tournament. He placed 5th in the State tournament in Singles Class 2 and was nominated All-Conference Player of the Year in our conference. We also had a doubles team of Aiden Amini and Nash Pratt that were nominated 2nd Team to All-Conference. We look forward to next year and wish our Varsity graduate the best of luck: Nash Pratt.

TRACK & FIELD (GIRLS)
The 2025 was another strong season for the girl’s track and field program. After losing
2024 Gatorade athlete of the year Skyye Lee to graduation, many people thought the
team would take a step back. However, as our mantra has been since 2007, the girls’
track and field doesn’t rebuild, we reload. Once again, the underclassman helped add to
our team depth across all 19 events. Individually, our team was led by Gabby Moresi,
Priya Cheatham, and Armani Harris. Each finished with individual all-state medals! Our
team won numerous competitions throughout the season, which came from our team's
strength through depth. The girls won team titles at the Parkway Quad, Lindbergh Flyer
Invite, the 77th Mineral Area Invite, Vikki Reeves Invite, the Suburban Green Conference
Championship, and the Class 4 District 3 Championship. The latter two mentioned
meets were historic. The team title at the conference was the girls’ 10th straight title!
Setting a Parkway Central record for all sports and possibly the entire school district.
The district title represented the 17th team plaque at the championship event for the
Colts. Individually, the girls qualified to state in the 4x800m relay, shot put, discus,
800m, 1600m, and 3200m. The team of freshman Alice Liebetrau, junior Armani Harris,
freshman Sophia Dunmire, and sophomore Gabby Moresi earned all-state medals in
the relay, running a season’s best, finishing third. Priya won back-to-back medals in the
shot put, placing 8th to finish all-state. Gabby Moresi ran a career-best in the 1600m to
secure her first individual all-state medal. Last, but not least, Armani won her first
individual all-state medal in the 800m to cap off another amazing track and field season.
The team looks forward to returning next season, as nearly all the major players are
returning to consistently carry our culture forward! Go Colts!

WATER POLO- 3rd Place in State
Parkway Central water polo entered the season having graduated 5 out of 7 starters and the majority of the offensive production from the 2024 season. However, a handful of athletes stepped up in a big way to contribute to the continued strength of the program. Early in the season, the Colts attended the Founder’s Cup at Ladue and brought home the tournament championship for the third straight season.
The Colts finished the regular season 11-7 and ranked 4th headed into the postseason. They opened postseason play with a 19-6 win over MICDS and continued with an 11-8 victory over Lafayette. They fell to SLUH, the eventual state champion, in the semi-finals and were set to match up in the 3rd place game against Lindbergh, who had beaten Parkway Central early in the season. However, the rematch went well for the Colts as they handled Lindbergh in an 11-4 victory.
Junior Peyton Dimmock led the offense with 85 goals and 25 assists, followed by senior Alan Conway with 36 goals and 55 assists. Noah Hoffman led the defense from goal with 215 saves. All three athletes were named First-Team All Conference. Senior Cole Smith was also named 3rd team All-Conference.

ESPORTS
The Parkway Central E-Sports Team played in League of Legends. The team practiced every week and became a close group of friends. ROBOTICS
Robotics Team Reaches New Heights
This year has been one of exciting growth and firsts for the Parkway Central Robotics Team. With five separate robots in competition, three advanced to the Missouri State Championship—an impressive accomplishment that included our all-girls team, a team of freshman boys, and one of our sophomore boys teams.
This season marked two major milestones: it was the first time an all-girls team represented our program, and the first time a team made up entirely of freshmen qualified for state—both remarkable achievements that reflect the expanding inclusivity and depth of talent within our team.
In October, we also hosted our first official VEX Skills Challenge at Parkway Central Middle School. This early-season event gave local teams a valuable opportunity to test their robots in an official setting, and it was a great success.
With a very young and driven group of students, the future looks bright for our robotics program. These students dedicated countless hours after school and at home, and their commitment was clearly reflected in their strong performance throughout the season. We’re proud of everything they’ve accomplished and excited to see where their innovation and teamwork will take them next.

The spring of the 2024-25 school year came with several weather challenges, but also many great accomplishments. Just recently, our first year band director took our band to the Louisville Kentucky Kingdom Band Festival and they received a Superior rating and took home first place in the band competition. This is the first time that our band has ever traveled and competed in a non-MSHSAA competition.

.
Track- Our track team just competed in a very tough Class 4 district meet in Cape and three runners and one relay team made it through. Our 4×800 relay team, a 1600, 800 and 400 athlete represented our school well. The track had a great turnout and we look forward to the bright future of that program.
Golf- Our team nearly doubled in size this season and we had one athlete that shined throughout the entire season. Ben had several great scores throughout the year and minus barely missing the cut to advance to state in some very wet conditions, he took home 5th place in conference and made 1st Team All-Conference with his impressive score of 77 at Aberdeen.

.
Our girls soccer, boys volleyball and baseball teams are all made up of mostly new varsity players because most of them are freshmen and sophomores. All of these competed well against the older competition and give us a lot to look forward to over these next 2-3 years. Several of these young athletes made All-Conference and All-District honors! Our girls soccer team also took time out of their busy schedules to give back by volunteering with SPENSA and working with the young people with disabilities between the ages of 5-21. They brought the excitement and fun of playing soccer to players who traditionally have not had a place in the youth soccer system.

This is a rewarding tradition that we plan on having each and every year moving forward.

West Girls Soccer
The Longhorn Soccer Program has an extremely successful spring season. Our Varsity squad went 8-0 and won the Red Pool Conference going 16-5 overall. They scored 59 goals on the season, allowed only 17 goals, and earned 12 shutouts. We had 12 different players notch goals and we had 13 different girls tally assists. Consistently the Longhorns were ranked in the top 10 for the Power Rankings and the Coaches’ Poll. As a result, 9 Longhorns earned accolades on the All-Conference teams this year, and additional 6 earned All-District. We truly appreciate the years of commitment from our three seniors and can’t wait to see what the future holds for Longhorn soccer.
The JV soccer program ended their season finishing 10-4-1. They had 50 goals scored and only 17 allowed, 7 shutouts, 75% of the team scored at least one goal, a 6 game winning streak, 3 mercy games, and only 2 games lost at home. A bright future for the Longhorns awaits!

Congratulations to Wade Patten for qualifying for the State Track in the 1600m

West High Choir
“West Choirs have had an incredible spring with lots to be proud of. We had 22 choir students who earned gold & silver ratings at MSHSAA State Solo/Small Ensemble Festival, see results below. On May 6th, we hosted Singer’s Choice with small acts, solos and choir classes in front of an enthusiastic audience. Jazz Choir performed alongside the Jazz Band at the Spring Coffeehouse to a large crowd in the West High cafeteria. Jazz Choir also performed front and center at the Honors Ceremony for the entire student body and guests of award winners. Finally, our seniors sang for the final time with Concert Choir at Senior Reflection including solos and our final number, Bridge Over Troubled Water, which seemed a perfect end to their high school journey. We are already looking forward to next year!”

The Rockwood Summit Falcons had another fantastic Spring Season for our programs.
Boys Baseball
The Boys Baseball team finished the season with a record of 27-8. This is the most wins a Falcon team has ever had in a regular season in school history.

For only the 3rd time in school history, the Summit Falcons qualified for the Class 5 State Baseball Tournament coming home with the 3rd Place Trophy after defeating Marshfield 9-3 in the 3rd Place Game.

Our Girls Soccer team had another strong campaign this year led by Seniors Sienna Nicholson and Lily Trueman. The Falcons were the Co-Champions of the Suburban Yellow Conference playing a very strong schedule.
The Falcons finished the season 20-6, losing in the District Championship game to eventual Class 3 Champion St. Joseph’s 2-1 in a very exciting District Game.
The Varsity Boys Volleyball team competed extremely well this season in a very competitive group. The Falcons finished the season 20-12-1. The team took home the 2nd Place Trophy in the Northwest Tournament and 2nd Place in the Rockwood Summit Tournament.

BOYS TENNIS
The boys tennis program had another phenomenal year and repeated as STATE CHAMPIONS. They also pulled off the trifecta by winning the team tournament, and both the individual singles (Noah Gou) and individual doubles (Joe Major/Ruben Haroutounian) tournaments.

WATER POLO
This was a historic year for the CHS water polo program. This past season the team created a cooperative sponsorship with Webster Groves. By merging the two programs we were able to fill both a JV and varsity roster. By providing a JV developmental team, we were able to teach the game in a safer and more suitable learning environment to our less experienced players.

GIRLS SOCCER
For the second time in three years the girls are STATE CHAMPIONS!
