University City High School
The spring at University City High School our Boys Tennis Program won its first District Championship in over 10 years and had a 16-6 record for the season. Coach Ibnabdeljalil was Coach of the Year and in All Conference voting Elijah Minor was First Team Singles with Brady Khlor and DeClan O’Leary as the Second Team Singles Winners. In doubles, Ben Scharff and Brady Khlor were first team.
Track and Field sent two athletes to state in the hurdles. Freshman, Jaidyn Conners in the Girls 100 meters hurdles and Sophomore, Markel Holman in the Boys 110 meters hurdles.
Girls Soccer finished with two first team All-Conference winners: Reilly Farrar and Elena Kellogg and for Second Team All Conference, Makayla Stewart and Gabriella Carvajal were selected. Elena Kellogg and Reilley Farrar were also selected to the Missouri State All Academic Team (small school).
Baseball played away from our home field due to July 2023 flooding. Our All-Conference winners include
1st team INF- Nakylon Cozart, 2nd team C – Mekhai Gover. 2nd team INF- Ethan Trussel, 2nd team Utility – Donte Harris. Three of our players were selected to the All District Team: Ethan Trussel, Donte Harris and
