The Parkway Central girls lacrosse team had a solid season, finishing 5-8. Several of the losses were close and we enjoyed participating in a competitive schedule. We graduated 10 senior athletes this year. Bailey Koestel will continue her lacrosse career at Carthage College. Bailey Koestel and Sophia Klein were named to the first team in the PSLA green conference. MJ Konieczny and Anna Aslin were named to the second conference team. Sadie Rosenberg and Ava Hayek were recognized with Honorable Mention. The JV team had a lot of success finishing 9-2 so we are not worried about filling in our varsity spots. Our C team learned a lot this season and we are excited to see them continue to improve through our program.

Parkway Central Varsity soccer finished 4th out of 10 in a difficult conference. The team was able to defeat some opponents that the program has not beaten in a few years. Most games were tight and goals were few, both scoring and conceding, with 11 of the 19 games ending in a 1-goal differential. Congratulations to Sophie Spicuzza who is continuing her playing career at Clarke University. Saying goodbye to 5 seniors was tough, but the future looks bright with so many experienced returning players coming back for next season.
