The Fall 2023 Season brought another great period for Lafayette athletics and activities including one team state championship, two 3rd Place team state finishes, three team conference championships, two team district championships, four individual state championships and eight additional state medals amongst our fall sports! ● The National Scholastic Press Association announced the finalists in the 2023 Individual Awards contest.These are the top prizes for individual work in scholastic journalism nationally. Winners were announced at the JEA/NSPA Fall National High School Journalism Convention.

● The following students had a wonderful performance at the St. Louis Suburban All District Honors Choir:
○ Lydia Lehmann, Katie Rattenborg, Lizzie Rattenborg, Annie Jones, Chloe Kim. Katherine Limburg, Kadence Grey, Julia Cundy, Rylee Stoffel, Kylie Wilkerson, Ella Nolan, Chris Songco, & Sanjiv Srinivasan.
○ These students were in the top 20 scores from their district audition and secured an All State Audition:
■ Annie Jones, Katie Rattenborg, Lizzie Rattenborg, Katherine Limburg, Kadence Grey, Chris Songco & Sanjiv Srinivasan.
○ Of these students only 4 per voice part makes the All State Ensemble with 2 Alternates. Honorable mention is also listed as one of the top 10 for the St. Louis Suburban district.

● The following Lafayette Orchestra Students were selected to the St. Louis Suburban MMEA District 5 Honor Orchestra. They will perform with the All-Suburban Orchestra on Saturday, January 6 at 4 pm at Clayton High School.

CONCERT BAND: Group GPA: 3.86
● The following members of the Lafayette Band were selected to the St. Louis Suburban MMEA District 5 Honor Band on Monday night. They will perform with the All-Suburban Band on Sunday, January 7 at 2 pm at Kirkwood High School. All of these students are all eligible to audition for the Missouri All-State Band on December 2 in Columbia.
