Fall 2022 Season Summary – University City High School

Here are the highlights for University City High School in our programs this fall. In Boys Cross Country, Senior Julien Trobaugh placed 16th in the State Championship this year. Sophomore Destiny Henry started her Cross Country career doing well in JV meets as a first year runner. Field Hockey cooped with Rosati-Kain forming the United Field Hockey Team. Team United had a successful season and won the Mike Winklemann Spirit of the Game Award. Coach Derrick Colquitt, UCity class of 2000, returned to the U and helped football advance to the District Championship game. Softball advanced to the District Semi-Finals this season, they will continue building the program as we say goodbye to our two seniors. Girls Tennis won the blue pool championship this year with Danny Wasserman and Faycal Ibnabdeljalil winning Player of the Year and Coach of the Year, respectively. Volleyball advanced to the district semifinals this year and is also continuing to build the program as we say goodbye to our three seniors. Girls Golf debuted this year as a new program and our ladies had fun learning the game of golf. Boys Swimming returned after a hiatus of 2 years as we aim to rebuild our aquatics program.
