Rockwood Summit had another outstanding Fall season with many individual and team accomplishments.
The highlight of the season was our Varsity Girls Cross Country Team taking 2nd place in the Class 4 MSHSAA State Championships finishing two spots behind the winner. The Girls improved on their 4th place State finish last season. Earning All State Honors this year were Cate Rossomano (4th), Reese Martin (16th), and Ella Thier (18th)
The Rockwood Summit Varsity Boys Football Team and the Girls Varsity Volleyball team both took home the Conference Championships in their respective divisions this season. The Football team finished with an overall record of 10-2, losing in the District Championship Game to St. Mary’s. The Varsity Girls Volleyball team went 7-0 in their conference to finish on top.
In addition, the Varsity Boys Soccer team finished in 2nd place in the conference with an overall record of 17-7 against a brutal schedule. The Varsity Girls Softball team also had an outstanding season going 23-5 and having three girls make 1st Team All State (Abby Ulsas, Sami Scholtz, and Sklyer Zentner)
In addition to many team honors the Summit Fall athletes earned some individual All State Honors as well
Maurissa Thrall- 14 place at the Class 3 State Golf TournamentGabe Cusanelli- 8th Place (50 freestyle), and 7th place (100 breaststroke) at the Class 1 Swimming and Diving Championship.
