Theater
- 45 members of the PNH Theatre Department (A cast of 11 performers, 9 Tech Leads in charge of Lighting, Sound, Properties, Costumes, Construction, Marketing/Sales and Stage Management, and 25 crew members new to theatre and experienced), successfully completed 3 Performances of Agatha Christie’s murder mystery And Then There Were None. Cast and Crews did an outstanding job building the sets, gathering and maintaining the properties and calling the cues. The audience were surprised and jumped on several occasions each night.
- For the first time we invited Northeast Middle School theatre students to join us for a matinee performance. 20 young thespians attended and were an awesome audience who appreciated seeing “big actors” and technicians at work. They had a great time trying to figure out “who the murder was”! Thank you, Erin Brewer-Moore for bringing your students.
- Aman Pai designed and led the construction team that built the set for this production All did an amazing job!
- We have 3 Theatre Department students who are performing at the 2023 Missouri Thespian State Conference in early January. They have been working on projects, performances and presentations to show off their knowledge and skills in their particular area of theatre.
- Aman Pai is presenting his Designs for our fall play And Then There Were None in the Set Design – Individual Event
- Max Banashek is presenting a musical theatre vocal selection called “Run Freedom Run” in the Vocal Solo Performance – Individual Event
- Jack Prinzi is presenting 2 contrasting monologues in the Solo Acting – Individual Event
- Also at the 2023 Missouri Thespian State Conference Aman Pai has qualified for and will be competing to win a $1000 college scholarship in the Theatre For Life presentations.
- The department has been accepting Applications for Tech Leads and Crew members for our Spring Musical Production, “The Lightning Thief” adapted from the book of the same name by Rick Riordan.
