Cheer
The PCH Cheer Team attended NCA Cheer Camp in July and earned blue Superior ribbons during evaluations. The cheer team also earned a Top Team Herkie Award, voted by other teams at the camp on the team that they think is an example of school spirit, sportsmanship, and leadership. Additionally, this year the team also completed the required NFHS credentials and earned a bid to Nationals. Multiple cheerleaders were nominated for All American, and from the tryout April Zhang was named an All-American and earned the title of Top All American, scoring the highest out of the tryouts. Throughout the summer pre-season and through football season the PCH Cheerleaders have been busy hosting clinics for the community, car washes, and other fundraisers, but also enjoying the free time with fun spent at a pumpkin patch and performing at a Cardinal’s game. Shoutout to the cheer seniors Indya Griffin and Alanna Stovall in their last year of high school cheer.

(GIRLS)
The girl’s cross country team showed massive improvement from the previous seasons.
Earning a number of medals throughout the year in the varsity and JV divisions. As a team the program finished second in the All Suburban Green Division. The freshman class were major contributors to the program both on varsity and against their grade level peers. The pinnacle for the 9th graders was winning the entire St. Louis area freshman division with Natalia Duvall winning as an individual. The Colts fell short of a qualifying spot to state due in large part to four private school programs dominating our region. Including the eventual champs Father Tolton from Columbia, Missouri. However, Sarah Williams still earned her first individual qualifying spot and finished as one of the top 100 females in the state of Missouri. The team shows a lot of promise and we are very excited to see what the future holds for our program with a number of varsity girls set to make another run at a state dream in 2023.
